i shot some hot shot century 7x57 173 gr soft points does anyone know anything about these bullets

thats is what is killing me they cost 12.00 a box and shot better than handloads at 100 yds a clover leaf. The bullet looks like a typical lead core and at 173 grains i think it would not blowup. i just wondered if anyone had used them

Back years ago I got a batch of 6.5x55 Boxer primed SP ammo from century arms with their "CA" headstamp.... as it turned out the brass cases were Norma brass...

At the speeds they most likely are going, they should be fine on Deer sized game at least.
