Whelen NutRe: Need help from expert 35 Whelen fans
Jerry
Thanks for the info on the RN bullets. I'll check them out.
I bought several boxes of Hornady 250gr RN at a gun show that I have started to use, too. They seem a little harder than the Speers but shoot just as well in my .350 Rem Mag. Haven't tried them in the Whelens yet, though.
Thanks.
Paul

jpbHi Jerry
Thanks for posting the news about the .35 cal bullets! I just ordered the last 500 that Lock, Stock and Barrel had. I was too late to order a 1000!

Hey Whelen Nut,
I recently purchased 1000 .358" 250 gr RN "seconds" from Lock, Stock, and Barrel (800-228-7925) at the amazing price of $75. The manufacturer is not identified. You might call and ask if they still have more at that price, but if you order specify Parcel Post shipping. They normally ship Priority Mail and you don't want that.
I have a box of the old Speer RN and these are very similar, just a bit longer (1.078" vs. 1.048" for the Speer.
