What is your favourite rifle and cartridge for
My favorite deer rifle is a Savage 99E in .308 Win. It's a joy to carry in the woods, shoots great, and it's a classic rifle.

My 'go-to' is a fairly standard A-Bolt .30/06 in stainless/synthetic, which wears a Hakko Superb 2.5-10x42 in Talley ultralights. Takes a beating and does the job reliably.
