Altough that is a little to big for anything I would hunt. It's better have and not need than to need and not have? Buy it now!

I say go for it. I just picked up a browning in 338 RUM and have been very impressed with it. The 338 RUM is a super flat shooting number. You can load 180s for long range work for deer or 250s for grizly. I go with a 225gr Accubond for everything. Reloading is fairly strait foward, retumbo seems to be taylor made for the RUMs. I say go for it. A good recoil pad and a muzzle break might come in handy.

I am sure you will enjoy it. Let me know if you need dies and I sold mine earlier this year. I will even throw in some of the spent brass.
