Which scope &mounts for Accumark
Recently aquired a 30-378 Accumark which would be the best mounts.
As far as scopes go I currently have 2 Leupolds, both VarX III's 1) 3.5 x10 50. 2) 4.5x 14 50.
If some one knows of a set of QR's that would allow me to swap the 4.5x14 from a Ruger#1(7mm STW) to the Weatherby and back as needed the info would be appreciated........OTTO

We stock quite a few Weatherby's in the shop. My MK5 currently has Warnes on it while our .270 has weatherby/Talleys on it. I really like the Weatherby Talley and have never had them shift on big guns like that. Make sure you have enough eye relief on your .30 378, that is as important as the mounts.

If they were both Weaver style on the base with Weaver rings your idea would work. We have a client that does much the same with his 700 Rems.

Warnes can also make you some special bases, so that you don't have to change the spacing betweeen the rings when you switch rifles. You might also want to check out the Weaver Grand Slam "steel" basis.
