Sauer 90 discontinued?
I just read that these rifles have been discontinued (in 2008 actually).

Does anyone know why? Just the end of an era for them? Not selling?

I have used one in .30-06 and while a bit 'over engineered' with the fancy rear camming lugs it was the smoothest action I ever felt, and was hell for accurate and very nice to shoot.

From what I´ve heard it was just to save money, cut down on production cost.

The Sauer 90 required more, expensive, specialized labour and manual adjusting then the 202 wich is mainly CNC made.
