Tell that to the thousands of moose in Scandinavia that took less rounds and travelled less when shot with the 6.5X55 compared directly to the 30-06 in the Scandinavia report. Or tell Bell who used to use a 6.5X54 mannlicher in Africa to brain elephants that the 6.5mm is not a big game caliber. It was obviously not even close to being an optimum cartridge for braining elephants it will do for any species of non DG game and do it real well.
