DthfrmbvFederal Factory 9.3x62 Mauser
I noticed the other day on Federal's website that they now list the 9.3x62 loaded with 286 grain Barnes TSX and banded solid bullets, as well as, the 286 grain Swift A-Frame bullet. Anyone else take notice of this or possibly know of any information because I have not seen any listed for sale yet on the net?
The 9.3x62 cartridge must be gaining popularity here in the states?

Unfortunately, yes, it does seem to be gaining popularity, and the price of reloading components is already going up too.

ozhunterFinally there's some one producing 9.3X62 ammo with solid bullets.
Not that I use Factory ammo anyway.

DthfrmbvI discovered this when researching the cartridge because I'm contiplating between this and the .338 WM for larger game. I'm shying away from magnum cartridges since I've come to the realization, as I look back through the years, that I have only taken very very limited shots at big game animals over 250 yards. Between the 9.3x62 and the .308 Win, there's probably not much you can't do or hunt in the grand scheme of things.

As well as loaded Hornady cartridges.
Can you tell I don't handload?
