I am thinking of getting a Mauser M03 in 300 win mag.

I am left handed and I am looking for a long range (for me that is max 350-400 yards shooting) rifle. My main hunting rifle is a AHR CZ in 375H&H and I shoot it well to 200 yards.

I like the break down feature for travel and I can get a 375 barrel and have a spare 375 H&H.

Anyone own one of these or anyone have any recommendations/suggestions?

Also does anyone know which model to get - africa, africa ph ect. Is there a dealer who specializes in Mauser.

I have two M03 in 300 Win, .375 H&H, .416 Rem and .458 Lott, both in Africa PH model with synthetic stocks. I like them very much. Superb built quality and designed, very solid rifle. Mauser anual push cocking safety system and double square mount are grat features. You will not be disappointed with M03.

I have two M03 rifles in 458Lott & 375H&H, with spare 223Rem and 308Win match barrels, in the Africa PH (brown) stocks. They are superb rifles, and the plastic stocks work great in wet weather!
