I did not have one built by L. but I did purchase one of the Savage rifles in the Patriot. It was a stainless with drop box mag. and shot like a dream. I never ran a chrono but it was very accurate. Put a Leupold 3x9 on it. I found the brass and dies a little too expensive to maintain and not enough people using it to help drop the prices. Overall I felt it was a very well made rifle for factory.

I had one never fired it sold it to a guy that moved to Alaska. He's very happy with it to date. He had it bedded along with the factory pillar bedding. He also added a Timney trigger.
He's loading 168 TSX's. I basically gave it away gun included the dies and 40 pieces of new brass all for $450.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right the first time.

I have been shooting a Sako in 7.21 Firebird for three years. I wish I had bought one of the Savage rifles in 7.21 Tomahawk also. Neither of the rifles were redone by Lazzeroni; they were built by Sako and Savage chambered to the specified Lazzeroni calibers. If you have any questions, I'm full of opinions.
