jorgeMy other post created such "good" discussion that I thought I would try a repeat performance with my other "staple" rifle, in this case a pre-war, pre-64 Model 70.
Manufactured in 1941, this rifle is UNALTERED except for a superb stock rework ( cosmetic only) performed by Chic Worthing. Notice please, there are SIX (6) shots all within 1" and one group right at 1/4". The interesting thing is that it was fired using TWO (2) bullets weights, a 180gr Nosler Partition and a 200gr. Both handloads. I've owned this rifle for 23 years and it's hunted all over the states. Next stop is Africa in 05 for plains game. So much for Wood stocked Model 70s not shooting.... jorge
