QD Rings..?
Ok I'm looking for a QD ring set-up for my Remington 700 LA. What have you used or are using..? What is best One or two piece base..? I was looking at the Leupold QD two piece base. Or the Maxima QD two piece.

I've got the Warnes on an AR and they return with in a moa each time. I would never use the rifle without rezeroing it. They say they return everytime but I always reshoot everytime. They are strong, well made and easy to use.

I had a Leuy QD set-up. What I didn't like was that on the hard kicking rifle I had it on, the rings battered the bases until the metal at the edge of the slot where the ring "locked" in place was mashed. Does that make any sense? Anyway, I sent the bases back and when I got the new ones I sold both rings and bases on ebay and bought Talley QD's. There were no problems with them. I now use Talley on everything, and am getting ready to pick up another couple sets of QD's to set up two scopes on a .358 STA.

I've used the Leupold QR rings and bases (non-weaver style) on a 375 Weatherby without any issues . The rings are pretty inexpensive , about 20 bucks a set , so you can have a couple of different scopes set up and ready to swap without breaking the budget .

How do the Leupold QRW compare?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
