Need a Gunsmith in Atlanta Area
Hello guys,

I have a custom .308 Win that I would like to have the barrel shortened about 2". The fellow that built the rifle is an AR member but he is out of Salt Lake City. I hate to ship the rifle all the way to Salt Lake City just to have the barrel cut and re-crowned when I know that we have reputable gunsmiths in GA. I just don't know who they are.

Can anyone recommend a reputable gunsmith in the Atlanta area? Preferably on the north side.

Thanks in advance...

You may try Deercreek Gunshop in Marrietta Fairground St. downtown ,I don't remember the phone#. The old guy Known as "The Talker" is very good and fair priced. However they are rather slow. There is a guy in Fayettville that post on the AR website . From what I hear he does outstanding work (Roger Ferell) I think is his name?? Good Luck Ben(rug)

Norm Myers at Heritage Custom Arms is pretty good. He's in Rossville and built my 275 Rigby for me a couple of years ago. Very good work and good pricing.
