Anybody have a lead on an available, decently priced 250-280 grain solid for .358?

Barnes "used to" make a 250 grain solid. That answers leads to the next...they were decently priced and I like to shoot solids for fun and some game in my home country. I should have bought some when they went on closeout two years ago.

Woodleigh offers a 225gr and a 310gr solid that are very accurate from my 35 Whelen.

Thanks. Mine would be in a Whelen too but alas the supply is gone. I remember seeing them on closeout and even bought some 220 30 calibers at the time but thought sure they would be bringing out a different version of the same weight or maybe even a 275. I was wrong! I guess if I want some bad enough, I will have to pay the piper.

I used the Barnes X in 250 grains as my "Solid" for my .358 STA. As it turned out none were needed, I used North Fork 270 grain softs to take the Zebra, Kongoni and Impala.

Good shooting.
