shrikeRe: Husqvarna
Both the Husquvarna old crown grade and the featherweights both based on a modified M98 as well as the push feed Carl Gustaf are superb hunting firearms. Specially if you found one in 9.3x62. There used to be a lot of them sold in Canada.

Gonzo FreakPowerI've shot and loaded for an old 30-06. From the site provided above, I believe it's a 640, but it might be a 1600. It's still a perfectly viable hunting rifle and shoots great groups with most loads.
One issue, however, is that it shows some MAJOR shifts in POI when changing bullet weights. Not just a little drop, but 18" high left when going from 125 to 180gr bullets. Maybe that's a .01% fluke with this rifle and the cartridge. It also won't shoot 150gr bullets.
If the rifle is sound and it's a decent price you'll get a lot of joy out of it. No reason I can think of not to buy it.

CARNEbefus,
What kind of ammo are you shooting? Have got a box of Luppau ordered but would welcome comments about ammo and in particular factory ammo; where to get or how good/bad it works.
The gun has arrived at the gun shop. An older Redfield 4X is being mounted on it.
