Anyone ever shoot a suppressed m-1 carbine? I bought a Universal M-1 a few weeks ago and mounted my 300 whisper silencer on it. I have yet to see how well it shoots. The can covers the sights so I will be putting a red dot scope on it.

I haven't but what a neat idea! I had to look hard to figure out where the barrel segment came from!
I have heard a suppressed 30 carbile rifle being fired.

Please let us know how it works. (It should sound like a suppressed 22LR High Velocity round. Maybe a bit louder as the bullet is bigger).

I figure it will be less noisy than my suppressed ar-15. Even though the bore is larger, the powder charge is 14 grains vs 26, and the gas system does not vent to the air. The 300 whisper silencer is larger than my 223 can also. I will post a video when I leave the oppression that is WA state and visit my brother in Las Vegas.
