PeterI have a Savage 110FP in 223. Extremely accurate and I use it for F class! I can't think of any cons!

razor1I have one in 25-06 that is scary accurate and I have been shooting it for several years now with no issues. The stock is kinda flimsy in the forearm but it shoots so tight I'm afraid to mess with it. Remington 100gr factory will go into a dime sized hole at 100 for 5 shots with boring consistancy.

Mine is definatly a keeper and with handloaded ballistic tips you have to see it to believe it.

CopidosomaI have a model 12 FVSS in .308 and have been having a tough time getting the extreme accuracy.
Apparently the .223 calibers tend to be better. I'm still working on it and can get .6" with match bullets using a few handloads but it sure doesn't like anything to do with hunting bullets.

the jiggerI have a 110fp in 25/06 that is my go-to long range PD gun. It is scarry accurate. I solved the stock problem with a Bell & Carlson Duramaxx.

L. Dihellandkiller,
Please let us know how it shoots. I have two Savage rifles; one in 22-250 AI and one in 223. Both will shoot under 0.5" with my reloads.
Good luck,
Larry

landkillerI took my new Savage to the range today and tried it out. After sighting it in I was very pleased with how it shot. Handloaded 168 gr. Hornaday match and 42 gr. of RL 15 produced several inch and a half to two inch groups at 300 yds. I am very happy with this rifle.
