JarrodRem 700 price ?
How much is a used Rem 700 BDL SS 300 RUM worth? This rifle is in perfect shape. Couple hundred rounds at the absoloute most shot through it.

ReloaderHere in North La it is quite easy to find them in Gun Shops and a few Pawn Shops for very reasonable prices. 400-450 tops will get one in good shape but, they may be worth more in other areas.
I think alot of folks ran out and bought the super duper ultra magnums w/o realizing how much they actually would recoil w/o a break. That's one reason you see so many at gun shops.
Good Luck

No im was just considering selling mine and getting something different, but the darn thing shoots so good it's hard to part with it.
It is hilarious though to hear my dad fuss about it. Half the time he shoots it it smacks him in the nose or forehead one, then he complains about it and I give him a hard time. Almost be too much fun to get rid of.

tpedI agree - I have one in 7 & 300 and they both shoot great and I have yet to start to handload. I bought mine right but seems you can't sell them "right". I was thinking of converting one to something else but will probably just leave them alone and keep for a rainy day rather than give them away at this point.

harkoYou should never sell a rifle to buy another one. Haven't you read about how EVERYONE regrets selling their rifle? My advice is to go ahead and buy the other rifle and keep your 300 RUM!

JarrodDecided its not getting sold or traded. That way I can listen to dad cuss about it when it smacks him upside the head.
Couple weeks ago during deer season he shot it twice and both times the scope got him. He told me he said you've gotta get rid of the d%#n thing. He's been shooting light kicking varmint rifles and has got in the habit of relaxing on the bench with them. Can't do that with the ultra.
