Thank you Jens...I am one.
Very nice looking rifle.
I wish that they had shown details of the recoil lug & bedding system.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

silverbullet45Looks very nice. Not too many 98s with all these features or in 338 Winmag either.
Steel construction featuring the distinctive wide Mauser loading breach for easy loading from above
Extremely smooth bolt movement
Short 60° bolt lift and anti-slip bolt handle ball for fast repeating
Direct locking in the barrel via 6 large locking lugs for optimum shooting performance and double ejector for a strong ejection of the cartridge
3-position safety SRS* for highest safety demands, which directly acts on the firing pin
Excellent direct trigger with approx. 2 lb** trigger pull for accurate shooting
Classic, straight stock shape with “Prince of Wales” pistol grip, fine, split checkering and exquisite scalloping on the stock around the receiver
Detachable magazine staggers the cartridges for maximum capacity; Mauser crest adorns the steel floor plate

Very well done. I'd like to see the bolt also.
Are the lug recessed with a round bolt. Looks like weatherby lugs.
How's the extractor mounted.

scubaproI have seen them Friday on the IWA show - very nice rifle indeed (I want one!).
Well made, slim, lightweight, focused on the essentials, 3-position safety, nice made...

surestrikePush feed, detachable magazine, they took the worlds best rifle design and cheapened it with this crap.
No thanks just another example of trying to reinvent the wheel. An over priced M-700 indeed.

kayakerIt seems like Mauser and Sauer were competing with each other to market a more afordable rifle with their respective M12 and 101 models. Has anyone compared these side by side? I wonder if the 101 will be a bit less expensive?

6_5X57When I saw the rifle I liked it a lot, and I wanted one in 338 WM. I asked mauser what type of material is made the triggerguard assembly and they answered me: ZAMARK (an alloy of Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium and Copper). I cannot understand how a such a nice looking rifle uses this ugly material, instead of steel just to save a few euros.
