I use Leupold QD rings and bases on Most of my guns now
you can switch scopes and never lose zero

Now is the time to get rid of those "dual dovetail" bases. It's not a good design. Get Weaver style bases. The Signature rings for those bases are called "Zee" rings.

Yes the rings are high. I don't like that either. If Burris would use the Weaver attachment system they could be lower.

Leupold dual dovetail bases and rings, if set up properly, are one of the best things going.

I am interested in opinions about Burris signature dual dovetail rings and bases. Any feedback would be appreciated. My intention is to mount a Leupold 3.5 x 10 x 40 onto a model 70 classic. Burris does not offer signature rings in Low and I don't know if this should cuase any concern. Also, do you guys use any type of liquid loc-tite on the base mounting screws?
