What will my drop be?
My 30/06 is sighted in 2" high at 100 yards. I am using Federal Premium 180gr Nosler Partitions. Muzzle velocity is 2880 and is 2690 at 100 yards. What kind of bullet drop would I have at 200 yards? 300?

Thanks

Go to the nosler site

Nosler 180 BC here

and find their BC for this bullet, then plug in what you know and here is a great tool:

Should be right on at 200 and 5 or 6" low at 300.
Go shoot it and find out, each rifle is different and paper numbers mean squat. If you're going to shoot at 300 yds+, then shoot it at that range.
If you're going after game at extended range, then you owe it to the game to practice at extended range and I don't mean off sandbags, most anyone can hit fine off sandbags at 500yds, doesn't mean you should shoot in field at 500 yds though.

The above estimates are correct, but in reality you have to do those tests with "your rifle" at up to 300 and 400 yards to know exactly.
