It seems that Fiocchi is now in a partenship with RWS. RWS ammo will be available in the USA though them.

I have only shot RWS 223 win when I was in Europe many moons ago. From the sportsmens guide catalog they are selling it at what I think is a reasonable price. I'm looking at thier 375 H&H (back ordered) at $35 a box. Has anyone tried this in the past? How is RWS brass for reloading? I'm inclined to buy the ammo just for the brass.

I was in Cabela's last Friday in Scarbough ,Me and they only had one bag of Rem. 375 H&H brass @ $80 per 100, I paid but I wasn't happy about it.

It is supposed to be high end brass. So you are saying that the Fiocchi .223 is RWS brass? I shot some of their 40 grain V-Max and it was the most accurate store bought ammo I have ever used in two .223 rifles. Cabela's often has it for under $10 a box on sale.

I'm not saying that Fiocchi 223 is RWS, I don't know. But there is a very good list of calibers that Fiocchi is getting from RWS and importing to the U.S. either under the RWS brand or rebranded as Fiocchi. I don't care who's name is on the box. I just want to get more than my moneys worth for a change.

No difference between Winchester and Remington et al (add any names you wish) making ammo for each other.

They have a factory, it only makes money when it is in production,
they don't care who's it is as long as they make money out of it.

That's surprising.

A few exist in the US and adding a case of it to an order can't be that hard.

That's what I thought, but we'll see. I sent another email. Maybe a different person will read it and know how to facilitate it.

It would be nice if RWS would import bullets to the US. It would be another bullet line for reloaders to play with.

With all the bullets you have to play with already, and the few they would sell, I doubt it
would be worth it.

Remember, the US tends to work on "Made in USA" mentality.

True. They would probably be expensive and not any better then Nosler, Barnes or Hornady.

Me and a friend shot a box of RWS 300 grain 375 H&H around 15 years ago. We got heavy bolt lift and very close to 2800 fps in both my Remington and his BRNO. I dont remember what bullet.
