what scope does everyone have on thier 338 lapua? i just got mine back from MPS stocks had a new sendero style stock put on it.

i did have 3x10 swaro. put that on my 223 because i don't shoot the lapua much anymore. now i have a 2-8x leupold. just about perfect for hunting. will probably end up putting a fixed 6 on it before too awful long, something with target knobs.

what load are you shooting out of it?

My .338 Lapua has a 4.5 X 14 Ziess Conquest mounted on it and according to my grandson, there is no better medicine for Elk. He convinced me to put down my .358 STA for one season and darned if he didn't have a point, now I have three perfect Elk rifles along with my old tried and true .340 Wby. A 225 grain North Fork bullet with 98 grains of H-1000 and Fed 215M primer churned 3100 fps and turned out to be the perfect combo. Good shooting.

i have been shooting a 225 grain hornady spire point. h-1000 powder. load is at the upper end of the 7th hornady manual

My 338 Lapua wears a 5X25 S&B PM11 and it is a hell of a Long Range Hammer with the 300 SMK

i've got a 4.5x14leupold i might throw on it, i dont think i'll be elk hunting this year but i should draw montana for deer, i know its overkill but i would like to take a deer at a longer distance with this gun if the oppertunity presents it's self. the 225gr h-1000 sounds like a good load to start with.

I have the 338 Ultra Mag and I have the Burris 3.5X10 on it

I have a M700 LSS 338 RUM with a Mark 4 4.5x14

Mine looks similar to this one except stock and scope color are Tan and I have no legs .

IOR Valdada 6X24X50 X30mm sets on top . 250 bullet 106.5grains H869 nearing 2845

Seems to Reach out well for me .
