Hopefully, blow it downrange considerably faster than 2800 FPS....

From a practical viewpoint, the 6.8 SPC is about the most compact package available for a serious lightweight deer rifle. Ballistics are a match for the hallowed .250-3000.

CZ is said to be working on chambering it in their CZ 527. If they get in into production, it will be about the perfect lightweight deer rifle.
