waitaminithow many reloads for a .300 RUM ?
Someone asks how often the .300 RUM case may be safely reloaded.
As I hate to answer by shrugging shoulders, I ask the community.

<Steve in MI>I have my first hundred I bought and have reloaded these 6 times. No problems yet. I bought another batch of hundred and had some loose primer pockets on a dozen or so first go round...

Calif HunterI necksize only all my belted magnums (I don't own any of the new unbelted ones yet.

) I have at most 5 reloads through the brass, and haven't had to discard any yet.

<bigcountry>I notice the neck gets a little brittle after 3 or 4 reloads on my 300RUM. But I do shoot close to max loads. I have not had any necks split, but do notice a accuracy difference after the first 3 reloads. So from now on, I have been laying them away and buying new brass. Figured I would anneal one day. Or sell.
