PhatmanIt costs what?
A Remington 7600 + A new Pickup truck?
I am just to low class to understand that one.

I briefly handled and shot one last fall. It was a surprising effect to have the entire scope move away from you when you operated the forearm pump.
I did not find the rifle particularly intuitive nor smooth to operate, but then again, it was a brand new rifle, and I only handled and shot it for a brief moment (2-3 shots on the running boar target).
In terms of speed, I'm otherwise a great fan of pump action rifles - if not necessarily in terms of triggers.

DuggaBoyeSince I've been forced into the southpaw domain, I have sold my K.500NE, my Davenport .378, etc, etc, etc, etc--
painful partings all
(I have kept some irreplaceables, though they are right-hand weapons)
I am now shooting several levers, as well as a lefty Talon and a lefty Blaser; I am toying with a BLR takedown in 300WinMag with a second custom .458 front-end; so this gun and its "new" action with its multiple barrels has also piqued my interest.

Can not use auto-loaders in Africa in most places.

PhatmanNow with that little piece of information this rifle makes more sense.
I didn't know auto-loaders were out lawed over there.
My ignorance, my fault.

Nordic2You can use your blaser for african hunting.
It`s hard to beat a blaser for most type of hunting! They are very popular in europe for the same type of hunts the semprio is targeted.
How do you like your BLR?
I am also LH and used a old one for moose a couple of years, but i had problem with a bad trigger and it was hard to get concistant point of impact in different possitions.
Happy owner of a tikka t3 LH.

DuggaBoyeThe Blaser is the heavy tactical type, not conducive to to good use as a spot and stalk weapon.
i have yet to buy the BLR, it is in the "planning" stage, though I have other levers of various types.

Nordic2A R93 or R8 would be a more versatile(222r-500jeff) switchbarrel for about the same money as a semprio(harder to repeat on shooting sticks).
