Thomas Jonessorry it did,nt come out a little clearer.
The shot to left was sighting in and the larger hole in the diamond is from 3 160 grain nosler acubonds fired with 79 grains of RL=25, from my model 70 classic in 7mmSTW. the group measures .166 center to center. I found targets in the file with other good groups too.
It likes the 160 grain sierra hollow point game king real well also.

45/70 Govt.Best I ever shot was 0.2xx with 55 gr. Sierra Match in a .223 Ackley, Rem. 700 PSS, 14x Springfield rangefinder scope.
But I was getting consistant groups like that. And taking about 4 hours to load 20 rds of ammo. Shoot a group of three rds, swab the bore.
I sold the gun, opted for an old Mauser, iron sights and Mil Surp ammo from Ecuador. 700 yds. off a sandbag at stumps in a clear-cut the size of five gallon buckets.
