Leupold Rings for CZ's!!
I posted this in "Optics", but, figured there's a bunch more CZ lovers over here. [Smile]

I'm probably about six months behind with this, but, paging through a recent Graf's catalog, I see they're showing Leupold Rings for CZ's 550's and 527's. Not that the Warne and/or Talley's aren't great ones, but, it's always nice to have another choice. They have Medium Height, Matte listed for each, at $54.39 USD.

Do they make them in a QD ??

I wonder if leupolds are as good as Talley's and warnes ?? Sometimes I have issues with leupold Variables and verticle split rings like warnes etc. Leupolds may be an alternative to cz's in this situation.

Thanks for that. [Smile]

Does anyone make a lower CZ ring than Medium. I have Warne Medium, but the scope could go lower.

Warne used to make a "low", but it required a bit of grinding on the bolt handle for clearance (at least on a model 602).

Not a difficult job. Use one of the end wheels on a belt sander running a fine grit belt, don't overheat it, and then pay your local gunsmith $15 to polish and re-blue). If you can find a set, they really do mount the scope nice and low.

You might be able to find a used pair somewhere like ebay. I wish I'd picked up some extras before Warne stopped making them!

On my 550 FS there is still some room to clear the bolt. Maybe Warne made them too low, or the difference was not worth a new style. I will look for some low one on ebay, and see what happens.

I too have found Leupold rings to be real nice.
I have them on my beloved Sako 75, 300WM.

I went with the mediums with my 3.5-10x44 Zeiss conquest, and have been really pleased.

Much stronger than they look!!..sakofan..
