i hunt wild boar in battue,
the wild boar are 30/100 kg, and the shot 5/80 metres, i have a rifle Bar 9,3x62.
i want use:
norma oryx 232 grains
rws Ks 247 grains
rws Dk 225 grains.
someone have used this bullet? they are good for my hunt?

<9.3x62>I've used the 232 Norma Oryx (the bonded bullet) on deer and black bear. It is quite soft. For mature boars (andblack bears in the future) I'll use the 250 nosler instead.

GanyanaFor european style hunting the norma or the 247grn RWS KS are both good choices. have a look at the norma range of ammo. their regular soft points are great for eland sized game- bit tough for even a big pig but will certainly put them down.

mouse93...they are all right - especially oryx - tho imo my choice would be harder bullets like TUG or CDP, since shooting running boars in heavy jesse dont give you the time to avoid any unwanted obsticles like branches or even small trees that may come between...
