I saw some bolt action rifles on the Russian American Armoury website at raacfirearms.com and was just curious about their quality, reliability, fit/finish, and accuracy. The one I was looking at was the Los 9-1 model in 9.3x64. They are advertising different models (with very interesting stocks to say the least)in different calibers including .223, .308, 30-06, and 9.3x64. I don't think they will win any beauty contests, but the fact that they were offering a model in 9.3x64 in the U.S. caught my attention. Plus, Izhmash is producing the SV-98 bolt action sniper rifle for the Russian military and they do have a line of target rifles that are supposed to be quiet accurate. I am assuming that they are ruggedly built, but not finished that well in the looks department(as is typical of Russian firearms). However, it probably isn't very expensive either. Does anyone own or know anything about these rifles? I am just curious because I know so little about them.

Any pictures? I think these rifles in 308Win have just come onto the Australian market.

Russian x64 Here ya go Con.

I have talked to Russian American Armory and they do have the 9.3x64 available in the USA. They asked me to check with their distributors but I have not been able to because of work and other pressures. Theya re a very responsive company to contact - most e-mails get answered the same or the next working day and they are also nice to talk to on the phone.

How much are they?

I'm quite interested in the 9.3 and the .22 LR. The prices, even MSRP would be nice. I missed them on the website. Packy

THE LOS-9-1 IS A RIFLE with a wooden classic stock. The Los-9-1 hunting rifle is intended for big game hunting. The 9.3x64 and 30-06 Springfield hunting cartridges are used for firing. The bolt action turns on locking. The trigger mechanism allows adjusting the trigger pull and triggering release character (smooth with warning). The rifle is fitted with a safety lever which locks the bolt and the trigger. The iron sight makes it possible to deliver aimed fire at 100m and 300m range. The rifle features a detachable magazine. The stock may be made of different kinds of wood (birch, walnut, beech).
