Just wondered if anyone knows if the Sako 85 in short mag calibres is available in the USA yet?

I have enquired today to see if I can get on in the UK and the reply was no and didn't know when they would be available (that was from GMK the importers)

I haven't seen any yet. In fact, the local shop I frequent just picked up a number of 75s that the owner apparently got on closeout, so the 85s, presumably, will be arriving soon.

LWD, I'd like to know who the dealer is who got the 75's, if he has some good prices, I might pick up a few if he has models/calibers I'm wanting, if you don't mind sharing who it is.

Jon2, they are at dealers here, just got one in 270 WSM, the Grey Wolf version.

just picked up a new sako "hunter" 75 in 7wsm for $899 at Carters Country in Houston Tx. Seemed a fair price. Haven't seen 85's yet
