Is anyone shooting this? It is a Dave Kiff design; pretty much an Ackley Improved .300 Rum with 37 degree shoulder and a tight neck.

I am looking for a reamer to rent and cannot find anyone who has one.

I have read posts on another board about the 300 Tomahawk, which is a 300 RUM with a 35* shoulder. Ray Romain in PA has the reamer for this round.

Thanks for the reply Jim,

I hadn't wanted to buy a reamer since I'll only use it once. I have resigned myself to a straight .300 Ultra "match" type reamer; SAAMI minimum chamber with a 0.340" neck which will allow one to benefit from neck turning should one desire yet at the same time one can shoot factory ammo without worry.
I measured all the necks in a partial box of loaded ammo and I came up with:
5 @ 0.338"
6 @ 0.3775"
6 @ 0.3770"
So it looks like that'll work just fine. I figure I can sell a "match" reamer far, far more easily than a wildcat.
The 'smith, Mark Pinkston of Kailua Custom is retiring and told me this will be his last rifle so he doesn't want to buy it.
