I just picked up my T3 Lite/Stainless in 270WSM and would love to match colour with rifle and the silver matte Vari-X III thats going to be mounted on her.

I sent back the Opti Locs that I ordered for my Ol'man's T3 because they were far too high and then I sent back the Mullets because I never seen such a half assed system before. In the end I settled with Talley Lite Wieghts but they were black. Not a big deal but I shure would like to find something as reliable in silver.

I have to do all my posts/e-mails on floppy and then send them off at a internet cafe so I really cant find the time to search, e-mail and wait for replies so I figured you guys could let me in on what you know.

Does Talley offer them in silver for the T3? I'm willing to go with Weaver bases and use Burris Z-Rings in silver if Weaver would offer their stainless bases for the T3. What about Leupold? I know they now offer their standard 2 piece mounts for the T3. What about silver?

If all else fails I'll order the Talley system again because its a simple, reliable, light weight set up and affordable to boot.

In the end my rifle package came with Burris bases instead of the Mullets I was told were going to come with it. I'm happy with this system. The med rings are too high for my liking. I've ordered a pair of lows to replace them. This set up is in matte and it actually looks pretty good with the silver scope and the black scope covers too.
