Dave_TAre the Browning BARs Durable and Accurate?
Been thinking of a BAR (Japanese made). Are these guns durable and accurate? Anything on them prone to breakage?
Thanks,
Dave

Harry OI have one in 30-06 with a BOSS and a Leupold 3x9 scope that I bought when the BOSS was first introducted (6 or 8 years ago?). I have never had a failure to feed, fire, or eject with factory loads or my handloads. I have never had any breakage, but it has not been dropped yet. I bought an extra magazine, but have not used it yet. A VERY nice rifle. Heavy, but I shoot from an elevated stand so I only carry it fromt he pickup to the stand -- about 30 to 50 feet.

LittleloadingblockI have a friend that has a Japanese model BAR in 30/06. He likes it very much and it seems to always out shoot my Remington Sportmans 74. He has never said a ill word about his gun. LLB
