You can size up O6 cases to make 318 WR cases and 338-06 or 35 Whelen would be better as sizeng down the cases to the smaller neck size you could form a false shoulder to headspace on for firer forming. As the 318 WR is 0.003" smaller in the ass end ,you could find if they would work by sticking the base of a 06 case into the rear of the chamber. If it fits then you are good to go. If it is too small then C&H die will make a die to size down that last 3 or 4/1000" of base. Jacketed bullets are no problem as Hor. now makes bullets in .329" or you can get a Lee push-through bullet sizer die in .329(bullets come out .330") and size down jacketed .338" bullets. At the minimun, all you need is set of 318 WR dies (C&H 4-D)that will cost about 2-3 times the cost of regular dies(308-30/06-243 win) and a 06 shell holder for a life time of low cost shooting.
