I have handled one of these, they are rather enjoyable.When you pick it up ,you dont feel like putting it down, 8 1/4-1/2?lbs (scoped) of absolute delight.You just feel like going hunting in the forest for Boar. obstacle...about $22K, cheaper than a sidelock I suppose.
Accuracy was excellent, GeorgeHoenig himself showed me the targets.

That style of chair is similar to what we call an Adirondack Chair in the US. If you do an internet search you can find both plans, and places to order pre-built chairs. They are traditionally painted either white or forest green.

I did get the pictures. Your kids and wife are good looking, as was Maija. The scenery reminds me of the Boreal forests in Canada and Alaska.

This is my P17 enfield in 9.3x62. It has a 23" douglas barrel, a corelite stock, custom scout mount and 2x Leupold IER scout scope, and original peep sight and gold bead front post. It is my go to walking rifle for alaskan big game.

Husky: That 1600 isn´t bad looking! Do you think I could use the 1600 as a starting point for the 8x68S? I like a side saftey so that would actually save me some bucks.

What work did you do to the action, barrel? - what finish did you use? That is so different it is cool!!!!!!!!

Man there are some good looking guns on this thread! Anyone in Europe know where I could locate a BRNO in 9.3x64?

Here's a couple of pictures of a 9.3X62 I had build this year on a M1908 Brazilian(Oberndorf). The 24" barrel is from Bevan King(British Columbia barrel maker)

In the picture above the upper gun is a Sako 75 Hunter in 9,3x62. The other is a Tikka M590 Deluxe in .308win.

This is terrible. You guys have such gorgeous 9.3x62mms, and mine is an "ugly" VZ-24 with a PacNor barrel made up as a camp gun ten years ago. Shoots great, but I can hardly raise my head to show it off. Sold off all my nice 9.3x62s (3 of them) when arthritis got me, but for some reason I kept this VZ, now I'm considering taking it to Africa this coming year anyway, and arthritis be xxxxxxx!

Husqvarna 640 9,3x62 with a 18,5" barrel. And a Schmidt&Bender 1,5-6x42 with QR rings.

The top rifle is my daughter's 9.3x62 with the first animal she shot with it, a B&C Tule Elk shot on public land here in California. The lower rifle is my 7x64.

what sort of ballistics you getting from that 7x64? I got a chance to buy a nice DST between wars Mauser. Looks about like a 280 Remington...?
