KSTEPHENSi always start with hornady and usually end there as well.

toadheadI have found the Hornady Light Magnum in 130 grains to be accurate as well as fast.
Also, the Winchester Supreme in 140 grain Accubond.
I would try these two first and see which one your rifle likes best.
I tried a bunch of factory ammo.. all 130 grs. Most accurate was the Federal Premium Vital Shock (loaded with Sierra Game King).. next was the Hornady Custom, then the Federal Fusion.
Good luck... Rob

vapodogIf your game is deer or antelope then any factory ammo is fine.....cheap can be good too!
See what works for you!

Mighty PeaceWinchester Supreme Ammo in 140gr Accubonds, or Federal 140gr Accubonds or TSX
are my suggestions. I personally used the Winchester Supreme ammo in my 300WM for 10years and my Tikka T3 LS 270WSM for 2 years till I started to reload the Accubonds.
Good Luck.

handwerkI too have been very happy with 140 accubonds, if not them, then go with 150 partitions, if they shoot well you have all the bullet you need.
Your favorite 130gr bullet that is loaded in Federal Premium Ammo. Fed Premium is just real hard to beat.

I totally agree with that. Pretty much any off the shelf 270 ammo is good for killing anything you'd want to kill with a 270. I'm waiting to try some of the cheap Federal Hi Shok 130gr ammo in my M77. It should do just the trick for deer or antelope.

N E 450 No2For factory ammo I always start with Federal.
However in the last few years I have had Remington, Winchester and Hornady all shoot great.
