It did surprise me. I was afraid it might be thin but Jesse assured me it would be OK and he was right.
I will have to get Mike to stamp the caliber on it somewhere and thought about the floor plate in the British tradition but then I would be married to the floor plate for a while.

Remington720I sure like your choice of chambering. My 9.3X62 is a modern CZ550FS. But it is has been the easiest rifle I own to develope accurate loads for, and I'll bet your's will be pleasingly accurate also. Components are becoming easier to find here in the US, but I've had great luck with inexpensive PRVI brass and a large variety of bullets, especially Nosler Partitions and Accubonds.
