WesternmassmanRemington Core-Lokt Ultra Bullets
I just pickd up the 2007 catalog, and noticed that Remington is offering their Core-Loky Ultra bullets for handloading. Has anyone found them available and for what price?
My 7mmag just loves them in factory ammo!

hoghuntingI don't remember whose site I was on, but saw that the retail for the Core-Lok Ultras was $35 for 50. They were selling for $28 for a box of 50!

realwood1Pretty steep given that you can get either TSX or Accubonds for less.

'Cause the rifle might love reloads even more.
The way to find out is to roll a few, shoot'em and have some fun doing so.

WesternmassmanDOC: Your are probably right, but I want to see if my loads can do the same or better! I figure I have a pretty good backup if they don't!

vapodogIf the Remmy CoreLokt Ultra is available to the reloader they're keeping it a good secret as I haven't found them yet.
I'm not among those that poo pooed the coreLokt and a bonded coreLokt would just have to be better to keep the jacket in tact for better penetration.
It's far more interesting to see a few dollars spent in this technology than more new chamberings that duplicate ones we already have.
