JaywalkerSauer 303
I haven't read much about the Sauer 303 semi-auto.
Is it reliable? Is it imported into the US? Can you remove the bolt and gas system to clean it?

Jeff SullivanI am new to the 202 series and have never heard of the 303, and I am not a fan of semi auto rifles anyway. On the other hand, if the 303 is anywhere close to the 202 in fit, finish, and accuracy, I sure might be inclined to give one a try.

Steffenif you are looking for a reliable and accurate semi-auto, Molot Vepr might be the thing.
if they had made it 1lb lighter, i sure would had one.

No it is not a 303 caliber, The Sauer 303 has 4 different calibers to choose from one being a 30.06. Looks like a great gun for fast shooting, would like to hear any reviews on it? But it must be pricey I would think about 3000$.

JaywalkerI cross-posted this in the Ero Hunting forum, and Steffen-9.3 answered with a translation from a Norwegian forum. Apparently, this Sauer 303 is still in somethng like pre-production status and working out the kinks.
Once they're set, its 9.3x62 looks very appealing.

it will probably be more like 2000$
over here it costs 30-35% more than a standard 202 classic

oldunIn the current Australian magazine Guns and Game there is an advertisement for the Aimpoint sight. In the picture the sight is sitting atop what I take to be is a Saur 303. If I'm right then at least one 303 has been released into the wild.
Happy new year.
