ted thornHelp Wanted....Ring and Base Options for Kimber 84M
I have had my 84M Kimber going on 5 years now and have always wanted a better mount system.
I curently am useing Kimber bases and standard low Leupold rings.
I am not a huge fan of the windage screws in the standard ring setup and highly prefer dual dovetails.
I see Talley has bases for the 84M but are not my first choice (No good reason though)
Is there a rear twist in dovetail base for the 84M?

Thomas Joneshello ted,
I just bough an 84-M and I think you should have a look at the new tally.
They are a solid piece ring and base. Not expensive either.
can't imajine a more solid set up than that.

SnowwolfeI second the lightweight Talleys. Bullet proof and cheap.

Savage_99ted thorn,
I have Weaver bases on two Kimber 84M's now. They allow a great variety of rings.
On the 84M Montana 308 I now have Weaver Quad Lock rings holding a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8. The cheek weld is perfect. They are nice looking rings. I like this rig.
On the 84M Montana 243 walking varminter a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 is held in Burris Signature rings.
