mackey8x68S reloading data
I just got a Sauer 8x68, and would much appreciate any reloading data for it, as well as opinions and thoughts on the cartridges
performance etc.
Thanks.

eagle27My late German friend had great success with his Ferlach single shot 8x68 on one of his hunts in NZ here as this photo attests to.
Recoil was right up there but but it was certainly an accurate and very good killing cartridge. He used RWS factory ammo with copper capped H-Mantle bullets.

According to Quickload predictions, MRP is one of the top performers for Mv W/a 200gr bullet in the 8X68S.

sbsmithWith lighter bullets, my best load so far has been 74 gr. R-19 behind a 180 gr TSX, 3100 FPS, sub moa.
