T/C NutREM. 700 SENDERO SF II 7MM RUM anyone have one?
What do you think about it..
Is it accurate?
Is it to much under bore for the amount of powder?
I have a .338RUM and love it! Just thought a 7mm RUM would be one flat shooting SOB!

SwitchbackI have a Sendero in a 7mm rum, not accurate at all. I think I have a lemon though.

HondoLaneI didn't respond because I don't have the 7mmRUM, but I do have a 388RUM SenderoSF. I absolutely love mine. All that has been run through it 250gr Swift A-Frame factory rounds and it shoots them very well. The 7RUM was not what I wanted because I wanted to launch bullets with more frontal area, but I guess if I lived out west and hunted Mule deer or Antelope that the 7RUM would be a great round. Maybe someone with some personal experience with the 7RUM will post.

BuliwyfT/C,
My standard hunting pair of hunting rifles are a 7mm STW and .375 Weatherby. I shoot 140's out of my 7 @ 3400+ fps. Yes, flat shooting SOB! Felt recoil is a non-issue and mine is topped with a 4.5-14x40. Accuracy is MOA.
I bought the STW because it was available to me, otherwise I would have picked up the RUM or other high velocity 7.
I use my 7 for all hunting up to elk, where I go to my .375 Weatherby.
The 7 RUM will make a great match to your .338 RUM.

ReloaderI don't have the 7RUM but, do have the new SFII in 7RM.
It is a well built rifle and much more attractive than the older model IMO. I like the black flutes and the new palm swell stock. It also has a more polished finish than my older SF.
Shoots less than 1/2MOA with handloads.
Good Luck
