snowmanNew Purchase
Last week I thought I should buy a digital camera. I think I ended up in the wrong store because when I got home I had a Husquvarna model 1640 rifle in 6,5x55. It is a near match for another 1640 I already had in 9.3x62. Ah hell I like shooting way more than I do taking pictures.

LOL, the icon with the "This thread is worthless without pictures" would be worthless since he doesn't have a camera.

snowmanDr Watson Its just a std grade Husquvarna. The mauser style small ring action is as smooth as any action you will find. The slender 600 mm barrel (23 5/8 inches) has rifling that looks new. The oil finished stock has a bump or two. Its plain to see this rifle was hunted with. It is very close to being identical to a 9.3x62 rifle I already had. It is a delightful rifle to carry and is very accurate. It just needs a little TLC.

PanchoReminds me of the time I went to my local dealer for an oil filter to change the oil in my old 4-wheeler. Got an oil filter and with a 20yr newer machine to wrap around it. Great wrapper. Ya'll quit giggling, the old one is still running fine. Still gotta get around2it and change that oil though.

Idaho Sharpshooteryep, my Dad did that once, or sumpin' like that. My mother told him her 3-yr old Crown Vic needed a new set of tires so he took it to town. Came back three hours later with a new one. She 'bout come unglued, so he sez "them tires are $5000 apiece, but if you buy four you get a new car free"!!
