Hy, just wanted to say how much i love this 300 RUM. I shot my 2nd. bull moose with gun last fall, and it just blow's me away how fast they go down when hit with this thing. Anyone else experiencing this with caliber.? P.S. These are not shoulder shot's , they have been behind shoulder's both time's.

I took a Remington KS Custom Shop rifle in 300 RUM on a Plains Game hunt 7 or 8 years ago. I took 16 animals with 17 rounds, up to Zebra, both Wildebeast, Kudu, etc. I used both 200gr Partitions and 180 Sciroccos. It strikes with authority, for sure

I have a Bolliger chambered in 300RUM and have taken some very nice Elk with it. Drops them like a hammer.
