Who makes a drop in or semi drop stock that would have lots of drop? I prefer open sights and want to have a stock that lets the rifle come up and align naturally. I am thinking of something like the early M70 or springfield sporters. I have seen adds in the Shotgun News for companies that look like they would have something but cannot find now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Pete in IdahoBuy a monte carlo comb stock and rasp the monte carlo off. What do you know, you've got a stock with the correct drop for iron sights.

http://www.gunstocks.com , I think they will do anything from a semi inlet on up. Looks like reasonable quality wood, and they have the classic European stocks you're looking for.
good luck,
