Truvelloshooter, a question about Frontier Bullets
Holy Crap!!!!! Talk about heavy for bore!! Eeker They advertise a 390 grain 9.3 Obviously they will penetrate from stem to sturn but do you need a different twist?

I am aware that these bullets are on offer, but I have never used them. For me they are overly heavy and the velocity will drop too low. It is a hard-lead RN bullet with a thin copper plating. One needs to know the measurements, before one can do a SF calculation for stability.

Being of round nose design and overly heavy, bullet drop will be an issue, and so it is a short-range bullet only. It is made in SA and I am not sure if they export to the USA with its stringent measures after 9/11, but it is possible as some other companies do it.

GS Custom will tell you how they do it, as they export sucessfully to the USA. They offer mono-metal bullets - both expanding and non-expanding.
