chestsprings9.3 X 62 Rod Bore Guide
I just got a CZ 550 9.3 X 62.
What do you 9.3 people use for a Rod Bore Guide when cleaning your barrel ?
Sinclair doesn't & will not make one.
Do you use Stoney Point, or another brand ?
Thanks

lawndartI just use the index finger and thumb of my off hand. Cartridges like the 9.3 x 62 don't allow for a thick enough wall for a delrin rod guide. I just clean with the muzzle down 45 degrees from the horizontal, and go slow.
LD
Stoney Point makes a bore guide to fit up to .416" bore size. I just use the cheap NTN bore guide, after pulling out the yellow end and trimming the other end back till its large enough to also use on my 45 cal.

Paolo9,5x73With a gun caddy and quality one piece vinyl coated rod/brass jigs (no aluminum) why do you need a bore guide?

Paolo, I like to keep the solvent where it belongs, in the bore, and not in my action.

mstarlingThe Stoney Point bore guide works well on the 9,3x62 CZ up to the .416 Rigby CZ.
