ducksterAccuracy of the T/C Encore?
Hello,
I am in the process of finding a new gun for my 12 year old son. I am considering the idea of a Encore for the reason that there is a youth and full size stock available and the availability of multiple calibers with the change of a barrel. I was considering something along the lines of a .257 Roberts or 7x57. How is the accuracy of the Encore? Are they tempermental to get them to shoot well? By well I mean in the 1-1 1/2 inch range at 100 yards. Any experiences appreciated. Thanks.

4bambamNo complaints with my encore 209x50cal Mag- SST Muzzle loader and it's groups with a 300gr L&L Hornady and a 26in. 280 Rem SST with a 139gr HornadyInterlock SP.

ducksterI was wondering because of the break action and two piece stock. I have read that the Ruger No 1 sometimes requires a lot of fooling around with the forearm to get it to shoot well, didn't know if that was also a problem with the Encore
