Does anyone have one of these rifles from Winchester? The specs online list them as being fairly light weight, similar to the featherweight. Was curious if anyone knew if the contours between the feather weight and the ultimate shadow are the same or similar. I want the lightweight, but prefer the 24 inch barrel the shadow model has in 270.

They are basically the same depending on caliber. 6.5 to 7.5 pounds. I have a 270 in standard model 70 24" barrel and even with a shorter barrel you will not lose any thing.
